Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films, usually horror and martial arts. Her style is similar with The Cinema Snob in that she loves dumb action films. She began her reviews in the latter half of 2009, and following her rise to fame (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used) Allison Pregler subsequently became part of Channel Awesome's family. The site remained active until mid-2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was revamped to Movie Nights. She currently hosts two podcasts: one that covers the Charmed franchise and the other co-hosted alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The videos are available here and here. Follow Allison on Tumblr and Twitter, and Tumblr. Can't get enough Allison? Ninja the Mission Force is where you can catch her performing the exercises as Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! was also her first film. The appearances she made in Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of awful films for kids or RiffTrax however, she also appeared in occasional adult comedies. In late 2009 she began reviewing films, and began to gain a following on the Channel Awesome forums. She was then accepted into the family of network movie critics. She's been featured on many Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as in Phelous & the Movies. Doug Walker and Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
