Arike Ogunbowale
Arike is an American professional player who is a member of the Dallas Wings Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Wings drafted her with the fifth pick of the 2019 WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale was a Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are two of her brothers. She was the youngest child of her family, and her parents spoiled her the best. Her father Gregory was posted to the Nigerian Army for quite some time. Ogunbowale grew in a busy family. Her brother Dare played football, and Yolanda Her mother was a softball player. Her aunt played volleyball for UAPB as well as Endia is a volleyball player at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale made the honor roll at her school for three years in a row. Apart from her fame, she's been awarded numerous awards during her education. Arike graduated at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School which is located within the town of Arike's birthplace. The USA Youth Olympic Team was announced as the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team on July 7, 2014. Ogunbowale, who is playing her first season at a collegiate level, was named one of the ACC All-Freshman Team. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for her important shots at the NCCA Tournament.
