Bella Poarch

Bella Poarch, born on 9 February 1997 in the Philippines to Filipino biological parents. The girl was adopted when she was three by her grandmother living in slums. Her adoptive father, a Filipino-American with military background, is white and American. She says her adoptive brother and she were abused from when they were children up until the time she enlisted. Her family traveled to San Francisco for a few months to live with her aunt, before relocating to Texas at the age of thirteen due to her father's need to undergo bypass surgery. The physical violence stopped after a short time, however, she had to suffer from psychological abuse by her father. In the year she turned 18, Poarch enlisted into the United States Navy. Poarch started her TikTok page in April, 2020. Within less than eight months, she had amassed nearly 40 million followers. She uploaded various videos but her most popular hit was the video she made for Millie B's viral song Soph Aspin Send. The clip, which was zoomed in, of her lip-syncing rhythmically to the song and leaping in sync with it, was an extremely viral video which was the top TikTok video. To take advantage of the fame gained since joining TikTok in December of 2016, Poarch launched her YouTube as well as Twitter profiles. The fame of Poarch peaked in the month of December in 2020. Two major Esports professional teams were reported to be keen on her. 100 Thieves and FaZe Clan expressed interest in employing her as a content creator under their respective brands.
